The role of the Audio Visual Solutions Engineer is vital in ensuring that the project scope provided to clients is accurately designed and tailored to their specific needs. This ensures compatibility and feasibility within the client's environment while safeguarding LDI from any technical oversights that could lead to financial loss or damage to our reputation.

As an Audio Visual Solutions Engineer, your responsibilities will include delivering technical expertise and support to the sales team and prospective clients. You will need to grasp the technical details of our products and services, respond to customer inquiries, and work closely with both internal teams and clients to achieve successful sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Proficiency: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the company's ProAV products, including their features, functionalities, and technical specifications. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Sales Support and Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to deliver pre-sales technical assistance, including system design and hardware specifications. Aid in crafting executable statements of work to be communicated with the Project Manager.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Educate sales team members on the technical aspects of products and services to empower LDI resources to handle all necessary support inquiries and potential implementations. Develop and update technical documentation to continuously enhance internal teams' product knowledge.
  • Internal Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal partners through ongoing communication and support. Act as a liaison between manufacturers and internal teams, addressing technical issues and facilitating effective problem resolution.
  • Post-Sales Support: Assist during the implementation phase by closely collaborating with the project manager on ProAV setup and configuration. Provide post-sales technical support as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with ProAV technology.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the ProAV and general sales teams to drive revenue.
