Position Overview:

Are you dedicated to enhancing the quality of after-school programs for youth? Join our organization, Educational Resources for Children, Inc. (ERfC), as we seek a skilled OST Administrator to lead our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of after-school programs throughout the academic year and summer sessions.
  • Design and implement educational and enrichment activities for children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with ERfC personnel, local school staff, and community organizations.
  • Manage a diverse array of programming, including creative arts, physical activities, academic assistance, and sports.

Essential Duties:

  • Be present on-site during all program hours.
  • Coordinate educational content based on available funding, staff expertise, and resources.
  • Maintain student records and daily logs for the program.
  • Develop and organize program activities in partnership with staff and community collaborators.
  • Ensure adherence to licensing standards and foster a safe environment for all participants.
  • Provide guidance in program development and staff training initiatives.
  • Assist with updating participant registrations and managing supplies.
  • Participate in professional development through training sessions and meetings.
  • Supervise Team Leaders, Volunteers, Interns, and Instructors effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a similar discipline.
  • Certification in pediatric CPR, first aid, and medication administration is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to assist children and lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability for training sessions and occasional evening or weekend commitments.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
