Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our team as part-time instructors for our after-school enrichment programs in the Hartford suburbs. As a Science Enrichment Instructor, you will be responsible for leading high-energy, hands-on classes that combine science and art, inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and artists.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate one-hour after-school enrichment programs using our pre-set curriculum (approximately two hours on-site) for 8-12 weeks per semester.
- Possibility to facilitate birthday parties, stage shows, or other events.
- Some experience working with groups of elementary age children is required, such as enrichment instructors, teachers, volunteers, or camp counselors.
- Must be available 2-3 weekdays (M-Th) after 2 pm and willing to travel (paid) to multiple nearby schools/locations.
- Must have a reliable car and driver's license.
- All employees will be subject to a criminal background check (required).
- Additional availability for weekly equipment exchange meetings on Friday or Saturday is preferred.
- Some college experience is preferred, with degrees and/or graduate degrees being a plus. Science majors are not required, but some art background is helpful for ART-Ventures/Crayola Imagine Arts.
- An engaging and outgoing personality is essential for this role.

Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00, providing a competitive salary for the Hartford area. Our programs follow the school calendar and are presented throughout the school year, with the possibility of additional work on weekends or during the day for birthday parties or other one-time events. This is rewarding, long-term periodic work that fits with your schedule and lifestyle.
