We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Program as a Clinical Liaison. This role will be an in-office position, requiring strong clinical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Triaging and Clinical Support: Manage incoming triage calls, perform clinical assessments, and provide symptom management and education to patients and caregivers.
- Coordination and Scheduling: Schedule sick visits with providers, document patient information, and coordinate referrals to outside services.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide educational materials, support patients and caregivers, and facilitate pulmonary support groups.
- Medication Management: Coordinate lab testing, medication titration, and prescription refills, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Representative and Liaison: Represent Piedmont Healthcare at national nonprofit organizations and accrediting bodies, participating in committees and attending conferences.
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited registered nurse program or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Licensure: State of Georgia licensure as a registered nurse required.
