Clinical Director of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science is aggressively expanding its clinical and academic footprint in the metro-Atlanta area as part of its strategic plan.

We are seeking Adult Psychiatrists who are interested in becoming leaders in the growing field of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry.

The successful candidate will join our Consultation Liaison (CL) faculty as Director of Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Services for Emory St. Josephs Hospital.

As Director, the candidate will help lead the way to develop new, innovative models of consultation that involve proactive collaboration with medical and surgical services, use of onsite services and telepsychiatry as a platform providing clinical care and the development of diverse consultation teams that comprise of advance practice nurses, learners and faculty.

Academic Rank at Emory University School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.

We offer a generous base compensation with incentive pay for clinical activity, unparalleled health benefits, retirement plans, malpractice, and four weeks paid vacation plus a week of time to attend and participate in academic conferences and workshops.

We offer our candidates relocation assistance, sign-on bonuses, and protected academic and administrative time. Moonlighting opportunities are also available for additional compensation.
