Clinical Liaison Job Description

Elevance Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in providing patient education and continuing education programs, as well as problem-solving and resolving questions and issues for referral sources and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine clinical and service needs for established and new accounts and referrals.
  • Effectively communicate with referral sources, branches, physicians, and families to coordinate and facilitate plans of care for patients.
  • Market all therapies, services, and products to referral sources.
  • Provide in-services and continuing education programs for hospital case managers and other referral sources and support staff.
  • Identify and pull through appropriate specialty infusion referrals and assist in maximizing revenue within local and regional markets.
  • Partner with leadership teams to communicate opportunities for relationship building and business expansion.
Requirements:
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of expansive work experience in a clinical environment.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strongly prefer experience in the home care setting.
  • Prior home infusion experience.
  • Prior sales experience.
