  • Lead a team of employees in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, emphasizing quality and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiencies, maximize labor utilization, and reduce operating costs.
  • Support compliance with safety requirements, company policies, and federal/state laws.
  • Provide visible leadership, drive a motivated and positive workforce, and establish a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Identify, coach, and develop team members through training, performance reviews, coaching, and support.
  • Implement and follow policies and procedures consistently, adhering to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, monitoring and documenting ongoing safety programs.
  • Coach exempt and non-exempt personnel on safety best practices, develop risk assessments, and conduct investigations involving employee injuries or property damage.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of leading and motivating employees.
  • Excellent team player with strong leadership skills, able to take direction and provide guidance to team members.
  • Regularly supervises up to 20+ employees, including tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations, and discipline.
  • Success in training, developing, and providing direction to staff, with a focus on continuous improvement and employee development.
  • Ability to work as needed, particularly during high-volume periods, to ensure departmental objectives are accomplished.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
