Job Summary

SERVPRO of Alexandria/Marlton/Morningside is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Contents Restoration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for restoring properties to their pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, setting up staging areas and equipment for each project.
  • Perform production processes as directed, adhering to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
  • Communicate with crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving jobsites with a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Determine salvageable and non-salvageable items and document them appropriately using industry technology.
  • Restore soot and smoke-damaged structures and customer contents.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
Skills and Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
