Overview:


We are in search of a highly motivated Event Services Supervisor to join our team. This individual will assist in directing the setup and preparation of event spaces for functions, serve and clear tables, and manage the breakdown of event areas post-function.

Working alongside the Banquet Manager, this individual will oversee the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage staff and housemen, acting as the personal representative of the property to event guests.

They will coordinate all aspects of room setup and food and beverage service to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize revenue.

Set up for events, including draping tables, arranging silverware, folding napkins, preparing beverages, and placing table centerpieces.

Service duties include retrieving food from the kitchen, transporting trays to event locations, serving food, and clearing tables.

Breakdown responsibilities involve bussing tables, storing dirty linens and centerpieces, and maintaining cleanliness. Additional responsibilities include cleaning back hall areas and organizing storage rooms.
Set up for break stations that include coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages.
Assist with event room setups according to meal periods and table requirements.
Perform food and beverage preparation tasks such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and ensuring workstations are stocked.
Serve food and beverages to guests, remove dishes and utensils from tables, and transport them to the kitchen.
Clean and sanitize tables and counters after guests have finished.
Provide explanations of menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.
Address any special requests and dietary concerns made by guests.
Offer general property information and provide a warm welcome and farewell to all guests.
Interact with staff professionally, assisting other departments with necessary information.
Conduct final quality checks on food and beverage items before serving guests.
Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction and additional service needs.
Promptly address any guest issues with high concern.
Assist other events and restaurant staff as needed.
Maintain constant awareness of safety issues, such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, and suspicious individuals.
