Position Overview

Operations Strategy Coordinator

We are seeking an Operations Strategy Coordinator to become a vital part of our team at Mustad Group. In this role, you will be tasked with developing comprehensive operational strategies to guarantee optimal supply to our distribution centers and clientele. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating supply data, formulating precise production schedules, and spearheading ERP/MRP initiatives alongside data analysis methodologies for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate supply chain dynamics and formulate master plans for production, packaging, maintenance, and tooling.
  • Direct ERP/MRP initiatives to align with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee inventory management of spare components, raw materials, and consumables.
  • Engage in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles and devise production budgets for financial oversight.
  • Analyze operational data to inform decision-making and enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster team engagement through motivation, training, and performance assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Industrial Safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems and MRP methodologies.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or supply chain management.
  • Advanced capabilities in data analysis and proficiency in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PowerBi and a focus on production/operations management.
  • Certification as a Black Belt and experience in organizations with operational excellence frameworks.

Work Environment

  • Office environment within a manufacturing/distribution setting, with potential for domestic and international travel.
  • Exposure to manufacturing and warehouse settings with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
