Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sensor and Signal Processing Scientist to join our Data Science team at EarthOptics. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to revolutionize agriculture through cutting-edge soil information.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced signal processing techniques to improve high-resolution soil mapping
  • Collaborate with hardware R&D teams to evaluate new sensor technology and drive the adoption of innovative solutions
  • Design and implement workflows for evaluating sensor technology and driving cross-functional understanding of requirements and metrics
  • Champion and develop routines for signal processing and feature extraction in production settings
  • Manage data integrations, novel data sets, and ETL pipelines to support data-driven decision making
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in signal processing, with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience using EMI data, GPR, or spectroscopy
  • Advanced Python skills and experience working with hardware and/or software teams
  • Educational background in physics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science, or demonstrated use of core technologies in advanced graduate research
  • Working knowledge of electromagnetic theory and experience communicating requirements and requests to cross-functional teams
