As a claims adjuster trainee, you will embark on a journey to assist clients in navigating the aftermath of accidents. This role is primarily conducted over the phone, allowing you to cultivate relationships with customers in a dynamic environment. You will gain the skills necessary to manage a comprehensive caseload of claims while overseeing the entire claims process from initiation to resolution. With the backing of a supportive team and continuous guidance from experienced leaders, you will receive extensive training on property damage and insurance policies, empowering you to handle claims with confidence and autonomy.

This position offers a hybrid work model, where you will be required to work in the office for two designated days each week, while having the flexibility to choose your work location for the remaining three days, whether that be from home or in the office. After an initial period, the specific days for in-office attendance will be determined based on business requirements. In this collaborative work setting, you will have the opportunity to build relationships, foster connections, and exchange best practices that are vital for your professional growth. If you prefer a traditional office environment, you are welcome to spend as much time in the office as you desire.

Key Responsibilities (post-training)

  • Assess coverage
  • Evaluate liability (determining fault for damages)
  • Conduct interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses
  • Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to oversee vehicle repairs
  • Negotiate with clients and other insurance providers to resolve claims
Essential Qualifications
  • Three years of relevant professional experience OR
  • A bachelor’s degree OR
  • Two years of relevant experience along with an associate degree
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Work Schedule (post-training): Monday - Friday, either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on business needs assessed during training.

Compensation:
  • Upon successful completion of training and passing necessary assessments, your salary will range from $51,000 to $54,500 annually, with hourly pay during training based on this annual salary.
  • Gainshare bonus potential of up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance.
