Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Your contributions will help us deliver an exceptional experience for all visitors.
Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage of $18.00.
Benefits:
For part-time employees, we provide a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, you will earn one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, accumulating up to 48 hours per year.
Application Note:
This is an evergreen role, meaning applications are accepted continuously without a set deadline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and window washing.
- Sanitize restrooms thoroughly, ensuring all fixtures and surfaces are clean and well-stocked.
- Notify the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor of any maintenance issues or damage.
- Demonstrate initiative and adaptability in your job functions, taking on new responsibilities as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and assist others as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas, including picking up litter.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to engage with the public during events.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies is essential.
- Physical capability to navigate stairs and various work environments.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
