Job Summary

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for leading aspects of the quality programs and functions. These include maintaining Compliance Protocols, Quality Assurance Records, Facility Audits, Mock Recall Programs and training the facility on these issues and procedures.

The Quality Control Supervisor will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead quality and reliability standards by studying Product Specifications and Consumer Requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians and engineers.
  • Maintain product quality by enforcing Quality Assurance Policies and procedures and Regulatory Requirements.
  • Supervise and lead the quality assurance activities for the facility, to include Syrup Preparation and Distribution, Microbiology, Sanitation, Finished Product Analysis, Package Integrity Testing, HACCP/GMP, and Process Control.
  • Provide effective supervision to Quality Control Technicians, by providing training, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Support efforts of the HACCP Plan, including GMP Auditing and Corrective Action Plan Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, experience within the Food and Beverage Industry is ideal.
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on work experience in quality for a Consumer Goods Company.
  • Proven leadership experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Experience in quality control testing procedures and internal and external sanitation of beverage equipment with a clear understanding of all aspects of Blending, Product Attributes Recordkeeping, Yields, etc.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Business Applications and various reporting software.
  • Understands and can implement all OSHA Required Training.
