About the Role

ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in training patients on the use and care of the LifeVest, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator that provides protection against sudden cardiac arrest.

Responsibilities
  • Contact caregivers and family members to schedule services and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities to provide services and train patients and caregivers on the use of the LifeVest.
  • Program the LifeVest according to the prescribing physician's orders and ensure accurate device settings.
  • Measure patients to determine the correct garment size and ensure proper fit.
  • Review and obtain signed paperwork from patients, including the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist.
  • Transmit signed documents to ZOLL within 24 hours of the assignment.
  • Manage device and garment inventory to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Disclose any family relationships with potential referral sources.
Qualifications
  • 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment (not family caregiver).
  • Patient experience must be documented on your resume.
  • Completion of a background check, including a level 2 screening for Florida and Ohio candidates.
  • Disclosure of your personal NPI number (if applicable).
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance or a valid state ID.
  • Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee, deducted from a completed Work Order.
  • Willingness to pay for additional vendor credentialing (e.g., RepTrax) if needed geographically.
