Customer Service Representative/Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative/Project Coordinator to join our team at Green Bay Packaging Inc. This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to work independently with a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through regular interactions by phone, email, or in person.
- Review purchase requirements for each job and initiate the process.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
- Monitor and replenish customer inventories to the agreed-upon level and execute purchases of inventory.
- Identify issues, specify resources required, evaluate solution options, communicate requirements to team members, and review open issues and action items.
- Manage the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of assigned projects.
- Maintain technical competency and stay current in changes in processes and procedures.
- Promptly resolve inquiries and customer complaints and review with the customer service manager.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits.
- Adhere to Wisconsin Packaging Division's quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison to customers, sales, customer service, design, and manufacturing.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
- Promote a positive working environment supporting Wisconsin Packaging Division's teamwork concept.
- Assist the management team with special projects as assigned.
- Operate customer or inventory management software systems.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments.
- Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach towards work and all work projects.
- Possess strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills while using good judgment.
- Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement while creating and implementing viable solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-3 years of customer service experience in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate a situation objectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, offer accurate information.
- Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail.
