Job Title: Project Systems Manager

H.O. Penn Machinery is seeking a highly skilled Project Systems Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned project manager with a strong background in power systems to lead our projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage power systems projects to ensure timely completion and maximum profit.
  • Oversee the coordination, procurement, and delivery of products to ensure project success.
  • Assure cost control of assigned projects and schedule startup service and testing.
  • Make site visits and meetings as required for customer installation assistance.
  • Communicate technical information to customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Review project turn-in for spec compliance and technical operational viability.
  • Prepare formal engineering submittals for equipment approval.
  • Provide closeout documentation and technical information for Electric Power Generation processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management or an industry-related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Strong decision-making skills and high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to understand processes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites and factory tests.
  • Knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Hand coordination (typing and writing).
  • Occasional forward bending and reaching.
  • Occasional walking and climbing stairs.
  • Carrying (up to 20lbs).
