Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through proactive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation and servicing of various equipment, utilizing required hand tools and equipment.
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Move and raise components using hoists, dollies, or other provided equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Update daily work communications and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure a clean and hazard-free work area throughout the day.
  • Utilize and maintain safety equipment on job sites, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through on-the-job training or experience.
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred, but willingness to train is essential.
  • Must be mechanically inclined, with basic mechanics and electrical knowledge.
  • Computer and technology aptitude, with the ability to read and understand various methods of mechanical and technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of tool usage and care, as well as the ability to follow procedures outlined in equipment manufacturer's maintenance manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques, including gas, arc, and TIG welding.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with common mechanical equipment, including air compressors, pumps, boilers, and other related systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands including climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crawling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for short distances.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments.
