Job Title: Traffic Signals Installer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Traffic Signals Installer to join our team at E-Z Bel Construction, a leading civil and commercial construction employee-owned company.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, traffic signal operations, and safety protocols. As a Traffic Signals Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signal systems, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install traffic signal poles and overhead traffic signals, overhead signs, pedestrian features, and other related signal components.
  • Understand oral and written instructions that may be accompanied by detailed plans.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with codes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signal systems or related electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and wiring diagrams, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Physical strength and stamina to tackle the demands of the job.
  • A sharp eye for detail, ensuring the quality of every project is unmatched.

Physical Requirements

As a Traffic Signals Installer, physical capabilities are paramount. You must be able to lift and handle heavy equipment, climb ladders to access signal installations, and work comfortably outdoors in various weather conditions.

Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel within the State of Texas as needed, overnight or out of town stay may be required.
