Job Title: Utilities Groundperson/Laborer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Utilities Groundperson/Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the traffic signal construction field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types.
  • Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors.
  • Load and unload construction equipment.
  • Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction.
  • Set up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades.
  • Help to maintain a clean and safe job site.
  • Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to learn how to accurately read plans and specifications.
  • Comfortable working outside in various climates.
  • Experience in the underground utilities/construction field is preferred but not required.
