Job Title: Student Services Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Student Services Specialist to join our team at Alachua County Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide support to students, teachers, and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide academic and personal support to students
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement student support plans
* Maintain accurate records and reports
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions:
* Part-time position, 20 hours per week
* Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the school

Applicant's Acknowledgment and Agreement: By submitting an application, the candidate authorizes the school district to conduct an investigation of candidate pursuant to The School Code to determine whether candidate has been convicted of any criminal or drug offenses as set forth in such statute, and, upon request, agrees to execute an investigation authorization form as a condition for candidate's employment. The School Code also stipulates that the School District perform a check on the Statewide Sex Offender Database. Candidate may not be employed unless such investigations have been initiated.
