Route Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Sales Representative to join our team at Borden Dairy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering and restocking products to retail stores and wholesale distribution locations.
Key Responsibilities- Product Delivery and Restocking: Safely load, unload, and deliver products at each account, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Route Management: Drive truck over established routes to deliver, stock, and stage product at customer locations.
- Customer Service: Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays, deliver promotional material to customers, and resolve any discrepancies or customer complaints.
- Inventory Management: Verify shipment accuracy and salable condition of product, complete daily inventory, orders, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery as required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on truck to conform to DOT regulations and company policy, and assist with routine maintenance on truck.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months verifiable experience driving Class A or Class B commercial vehicle preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend, and routinely lift over 60 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds with a hand-held hook.
Must be able to work in hot and cold climates, both indoors and outdoors, and on refrigerated trucks.
