Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping Operations Manager to join our team at HonorVet Technologies. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Sales and Inventory teams to ensure shipments are processed within required standards and procedures.
  • Support facilities projects on a regular basis, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain a fair and consistent set of standards for team members, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Oversee the printing, picking, slotting, packing, releasing, and assembly of customer orders, resolving any inventory issues that may arise.
  • Lead a multi-national team in safely and efficiently receiving, prepping, loading, and delivering cargo, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, and dispatching cargo using a tracking software.
  • File Over/Short Reports and Transportation Discrepancy Reports as needed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Communicate with customers to arrange for cargo pick up or delivery, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of any issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inbound and outbound cargo, as directed by management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
