About the Role

Spectrum Comm Inc is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of Material Coordinators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Work Assignment: Assign tasks to team members based on priorities, considering the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of the employees.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all transactions are accurate and comply with Veterans Administration's Service Distribution Center (SDC) standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to track warehouse project status.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with government personnel to enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and review work, provide feedback to employees, and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Recruitment: Participate in interview panels and recommend candidates for selection.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Education (1-2 years of additional training and/or education is preferred)
  • Experience: 5 YEARS of Supervisory experience in Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehouse Operations
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, conflict management, time management, and inventory software and systems.
  • Certifications: Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office 2010 or latter, data entry, and typing skills.
  • Security Clearance: Requires Tier 1 Background Investigation (BI)
