Job Summary

This position promotes a safe and secure environment for the Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park, its guests, and employees. Supervises Security Officers, provides training, and ensures compliance with casino policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Promote a clean, safe, healthy, and friendly environment for employees and guests.
  • Supervise Security Officers and provide training.
  • Ensure compliance with casino policies and procedures.
  • Report safety issues and hazards to the Security Manager or Assistant Security Manager.
  • Provide patrols of all casino and surrounding company property.

Working Conditions:

  • Work weekends, holidays, and all shifts as required by the Security Department.
  • Work in an environment that may expose you to second-hand smoke and loud noises from the gaming floor.
Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Candidates with one year of previous public safety, casino security, military, or other related experience preferred.

Skills:

Excellent written communication and observation skills, ability to speak effectively and persuasively to a diverse customer and employee base.

Licenses/Certifications:

Current valid Oregon Driver's License required. OLCC certification and EMR certification (or ability to obtain) also required.
