Security Operations Supervisor

Summary
The Security Operations Supervisor will oversee the armed security personnel during the designated shifts and will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of a U.S. Government facility.
Responsibilities
+ In uniform and armed, will engage in Guard Mount, receive post assignments, and adhere to additional instructions as necessary.
+ Responsible for executing general and specific orders for the assigned post; will conduct patrols to deter security breaches and fulfill other operational security tasks.
+ Will utilize radio, telephone, and verbal communication as per directives.
+ Required to interact professionally with the public and government officials.
+ Will manage access control and perform armed security duties on foot.
+ Expected to maintain the cleanliness and order of the uniform and assigned equipment.
+ Must comply with established standard operating procedures and governmental regulations regarding the security of personnel, property, and equipment.
+ Will perform checks on personnel, buildings, and facilities, as well as inspect packages and parcels.
+ Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
+ Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
+ Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English, with the ability to produce clear verbal and written reports.
+ Active Secret Clearance is required.
+ Must comply with the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922.
+ Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, preferably with a civilian police force, military police, or security organization.
+ Proven experience supervising a team of at least 10 personnel for a minimum of two years.
+ Must successfully meet the physical agility standards as established by the U.S. Army.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Proficient in operating personal computers and standard office equipment.
+ Familiarity with various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
