Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare operating rooms, including setting up equipment and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with recovery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surgical Technologist experience.
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
  • BLS Certification.
  • Trauma experience preferred, but not required.
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required.
