As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring outstanding service delivery across a range of apartment communities. Your responsibilities will include supervising and guiding a team of dedicated associates, referred to as Service Valets, within your designated region. In this capacity, you will exemplify a service-oriented culture that emphasizes the quality of the service experience. You will model, instruct, and mentor expectations to uphold service standards.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
Bonus: Target bonus is 10% of annual salary (distributed and paid quarterly)

Work Schedule:
This role requires flexibility to work a variable schedule, which may include morning, early afternoon, and evening hours based on business needs.

Work Environment:
You will operate from both a home office and in-field (community properties) as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service excellence by overseeing the daily and nightly completion of resident doorstep trash/recycle/compost collection for assigned communities.
  • Collaborate with your Operations Manager to develop a scheduling plan based on monthly and weekly waste management workloads.
  • Promote and train Service Valets on collection policies and procedures while ensuring compliance.
  • Enhance system (iValet) adherence through consistent communication, training, and development of all Service Valets.
  • Manage the collection process effectively by utilizing provided tools to meet budget targets and client expectations.
  • Monitor nightly performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to service transformation and business growth by suggesting productivity enhancements.
  • Boost Service Valet retention by fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring high engagement levels.
  • Provide on-call support to Service Valets and assigned communities.
  • Report safety incidents promptly and thoroughly.
  • Conduct regular community inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Identify associate development needs and facilitate appropriate coaching or training opportunities.
  • Participate in team meetings virtually, in person, or off-site as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading effective teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in spreadsheet and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of basic employment law, customer service principles, and leadership/management concepts.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage stress effectively and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, fostering engaging interactions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective teams while holding oneself and others accountable.
  • Excellent task prioritization skills, with the ability to organize and manage workload based on client needs.
Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:
  • This position requires the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs, walk distances including up and down stairs, bend at waist and/or knees, and lift arms at/over shoulders.
  • Ability to occasionally work outdoors and drive in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to tolerate disagreeable odors.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle in accordance with local and state regulations and company policy.
