Valet Living Doorstep sets the benchmark for waste and recycling collection services, enhancing convenience for over 1.8 million apartment homes across 40 states.
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring outstanding service delivery across a range of apartment communities. Your responsibilities will include supervising and guiding a team of dedicated associates, referred to as Service Valets, within your designated region. In this capacity, you will exemplify a service-oriented culture that emphasizes the quality of the service experience. You will model, instruct, and mentor expectations to uphold service standards.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
Bonus: Target bonus is 10% of annual salary (distributed and paid quarterly)
Work Schedule:
This role requires flexibility to work a variable schedule, which may include morning, early afternoon, and evening hours based on business needs.
Work Environment:
You will operate from both a home office and in-field (community properties) as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure service excellence by overseeing the daily and nightly completion of resident doorstep trash/recycle/compost collection for assigned communities.
- Collaborate with your Operations Manager to develop a scheduling plan based on monthly and weekly waste management workloads.
- Promote and train Service Valets on collection policies and procedures while ensuring compliance.
- Enhance system (iValet) adherence through consistent communication, training, and development of all Service Valets.
- Manage the collection process effectively by utilizing provided tools to meet budget targets and client expectations.
- Monitor nightly performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to service transformation and business growth by suggesting productivity enhancements.
- Boost Service Valet retention by fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring high engagement levels.
- Provide on-call support to Service Valets and assigned communities.
- Report safety incidents promptly and thoroughly.
- Conduct regular community inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Identify associate development needs and facilitate appropriate coaching or training opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings virtually, in person, or off-site as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading effective teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in spreadsheet and data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of basic employment law, customer service principles, and leadership/management concepts.
- Exhibits a strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
- Ability to manage stress effectively and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, fostering engaging interactions.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective teams while holding oneself and others accountable.
- Excellent task prioritization skills, with the ability to organize and manage workload based on client needs.
- This position requires the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs, walk distances including up and down stairs, bend at waist and/or knees, and lift arms at/over shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally work outdoors and drive in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to tolerate disagreeable odors.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle in accordance with local and state regulations and company policy.
