Position: Bilingual Customer Service Agent
This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must be based in Chicago, IL. Necessary equipment will be supplied via a local courier.
Qualifications:Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification is required.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) is essential.
Skills and Experience:- 0-2 years of experience in a call center or related customer service role is preferred.
- Proficient in computer usage, with the ability to work under strict deadlines and manage various tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Capability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Respond to phone calls and written inquiries within designated timeframes.
- Assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure timely processing of priority referrals.
- Document customer inquiries and resolutions accurately in the appropriate systems.
- Direct case-specific inquiries to the relevant staff or department as needed.
- Generate and send necessary forms and documents to customers.
- Complete required documentation and data entry tasks accurately.
- Maintain quality and compliance standards as per contractual obligations.
- Regularly update supervisors and senior administrators on case statuses and production challenges.
- Adhere strictly to Child Support policies and procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of case information.
- Meet all performance standards as outlined for this position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Remain available and engaged online during scheduled working hours.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods (approximately 75% of the time).
- Ensure that the work environment is safe and secure for handling confidential customer information.
- Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Work primarily indoors in a secure and private setting.
