Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care services to clients in their homes in White Lake Twp, Michigan. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with clients and their families to assess and meet their unique needs, ensuring a high quality of life.


Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, and feeding, as required by clients.
  • Assist with range of motion activities, housekeeping, and physical therapies as instructed by healthcare providers.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, provide companionship, and perform other tasks as requested or needed.
  • Observe and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional condition to designated personnel.
  • Comply with Interim HealthCare's policies, procedures, and confidentiality statements.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment.


Requirements

  • High School Education or GED certificate required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • Current valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to maintain patient information in accordance with confidentiality statements.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for the Michigan certified Home Health Aide.
  • Knowledgeable about the principles of growth and development over the life span.
  • Working understanding of safety and infection control procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals.


Benefits

As an employee of Interim HealthCare, you will receive a competitive hourly wage of $17 to $18 per hour, paid biweekly. You will also be eligible for health coverage, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts, and vacation days.
