Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with clinical activities, including patient preparation, vital sign collection, and medical procedures.
- Collaborate with clerical staff to optimize office operations and patient flow.
- Interact with outside healthcare facilities and agencies to coordinate patient care and insurance.
- Maintain updated competencies and demonstrate expertise in patient care management.
- Perform front office duties as needed and provide coverage in other departments or locations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited MA program, including a clinical rotation, or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of relevant experience in a medical setting.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Preferred certifications include Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA), Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA), or Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA).
