Job Title: Part-Time Behavior Technician

Akoya Behavioral Health is a leading organization dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Behavior Technician to join our team.

About Us

We are a clinician-owned and operated in-home ABA program with a focus on family-centered care. Our team is led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 20 years of experience in the ABA field. We are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment where every team member plays a crucial role in shaping a brighter future for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 care using the principles of ABA in the homes of the families we serve.
  • Implement individualized strength-based treatment plans.
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development in areas including communication, leisure and independent play, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Manage problematic/interfering behaviors through effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful environment at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Remain open and curious to learn new skills and methodologies.
  • Utilize creative teaching and problem-solving skills to enhance the learning experience.
Candidate Qualifications
  • High school degree or higher.
  • Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
  • RBT certification in good standing preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check.
