About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Repair Specialist to join our team at Music and Arts. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring that musical instruments are restored to their optimal condition, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair musical instruments, including brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test instruments to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, including instruments, parts, and supplies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience in instrument repair and maintenance; 4 years preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of instrument repair and maintenance; excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Attributes: Goal-oriented, able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
