Key Responsibilities- Safety and Quality: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices, alerting others regarding potential hazards.
- Technical Expertise: Assess leaking components and report findings to operations, engineering, and customer representatives, perform leak repair operations, and inspect leak repair devices.
- Leadership and Communication: Supervise and train new technicians or assistant technicians, interact with customers to increase company presence, and communicate with field personnel, client representatives, and management.
- Administrative and Documentation: Perform appropriate documentation and administrative procedures as required from a job to job basis.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or trade school or related education preferred, 2 or more years of experience with on-line leak repair.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice, ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines, knowledge of plant maintenance and repair work preferred.
- Certifications and Licenses: Must possess a valid driver's license, have obtained or has the ability to obtain OSHA 10 And OSHA 30 certification.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds, must be able to walk and climb throughout industrial areas, ability to communicate with customers in high stress environments.
- Travel and Work Schedule: May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis, must be able to manage time and schedule on a weekly basis.
