The Production Operator is a key member of our team at Dairy Farmers of America, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our dairy products. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate label changes on production equipment
• Verify proper cap color and date code on bottles
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the Quality Control Department to ensure product quality and safety
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records
• Participate in sanitation and cleaning procedures, including the use of chemicals
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to maintain physical conditioning sufficient to accomplish heavy lifting and climbing stairs multiple times per day. The employee must be able to stand for long periods and use hand tools and repetitive tasks. A 4-5 day work schedule is typical for this position.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and climbing stairs
