As a Machine Operator at Panasonic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. Your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate various machines, including saws, drill presses, and routers, to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines for production, ensuring calibration and cleaning are completed before starting a cycle
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency
  • Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality
  • Test machine operation periodically to identify and resolve issues
  • Address any machine-related problems that arise during the shift
  • Monitor output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Maintain accurate records of approved and defective units or final products
  • Keep activity logs up to date

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a production environment
  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools
  • Understanding of production procedures and protocols
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations, including the use of protective gear
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform duties
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of prior factory experience
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and possess basic arithmetic skills
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours)
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule
