Mail Clerk Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mail Clerk Specialist to join their team in the Blue Ash area. This temporary-to-hire role involves managing incoming and outgoing mail, as well as distributing mail within the company.
Responsibilities- Process and prepare outgoing mail for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Sort and categorize incoming mail, arranging it by bank and distributing it according to established procedures.
- Verify, document, and bundle packages, identifying any extra or missing items as required.
- Operate presort equipment to generate revenue for mail services.
- Receive and inspect packages, verifying contents against shipping records.
- Pack and ship items according to specifications and transportation methods.
- Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Program and operate presort equipment, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Work independently with limited supervision, meeting tight deadlines.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory for this role.
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds, ensuring safe working conditions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with employees and clients.
- Familiarity with office policies and procedures, as well as mail services processes.
- Proficiency in using PCs, postage meters, and general office equipment, with experience in similar roles.
- Able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
The estimated salary for this position is between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour. Our benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
