Project Support Specialist Opportunity

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Project Support Specialist to join the NORDP Consultants Program team. As a key member of our team, you will provide project management support for various projects, including financial administration, metrics compilation, software system upgrades, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide project management support for multiple projects.
  • Develop and manage project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams and departments to identify and resolve concerns.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain databases and reports.
  • Design presentations to support departmental needs.
  • Track departmental budgets and forecast future budget needs.
  • Plan and coordinate special events.
  • Maintain and update the departmental website.

Job Details:

  • The Project Support Specialist will manage the curation and development of resources for the project's library, plan and coordinate quarterly and annual events, maintain and update the program's website, and lead marketing and communication activities with key contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of project, financial, and/or administrative management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing an annual budget of $1M.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with newsletters, marketing communications, and disseminating research products.
  • Familiarity with the conduct of research and/or the research enterprise operations of institutions of higher education.
