Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Development, Annual Fund to join our team at Emory University. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for management and cultivation of a portfolio of individual donors making unrestricted gifts of $1,000 - $25,000+ annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for management and cultivation of a portfolio of individual donors
  • Manage a portfolio of prospects through an active schedule of solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship calls to donors and new prospects
  • Write and edit promotional and fundraising materials, both for print and online
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of special events and fund-raising projects
  • Maintain information on selected donors and prospects including contact reports in CRM system
  • Design and generate reports on revenue, donor retention, and other metrics as appropriate for strategic planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in fundraising or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and long-term relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with mass mailings and event planning preferred
  • High degree of competency with Microsoft Office software and Raiser's Edge constituent management system a plus
