We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Entertainment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and operation of our entertainment systems, ensuring seamless execution of shows and events.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of assigned teams, including creating schedules, troubleshooting, and coaching team members.
- Create and maintain accurate records and documentation, such as training logs, maintenance logs, and operational procedures.
- Critique team member performance and provide guidance and feedback.
- Demonstrate and promote company standards and policies.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of employee programs, such as new hire orientations and team member training.
- Prepare development plans and team member evaluations.
- Develop and prioritize project lists for assigned areas and tasks.
- Maintain familiarity with all park venues and work productively in all areas.
- Coordinate with the Entertainment Productions team on technical elements for new and existing shows or consumer events.
- Ensure the work area is fully supplied and staffed for all plans and potential contingencies.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license required.
- At least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in technical theater or a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years leadership experience in the entertainment industry.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to lead and direct a team.
- Ability to train and coach team members on proper techniques and technical skills.
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain technical entertainment equipment.
- Demonstrated experience with show system installations and interacting with show producers and stage managers.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software systems.
