Credit Risk Management Associate

We are currently looking for a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Assistant Market Credit Manager. This position requires expertise in credit, collections, and accounts receivable, along with a desire to make a significant impact on the financial performance of a multi-billion-dollar enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess credit information, analyze credit risk, and make decisions to approve or deny credit accounts in line with company policies and guidelines.
- Conduct or oversee credit assessments for both existing and prospective clients to determine credit limits and manage exposure.
- Engage with credit customers via phone, email, or in-person to discuss outstanding balances, ensuring timely payments and consistent follow-up.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and the sales team through regular communication and visits, collaborating on accounts receivable strategies.
- Focus on enhancing customer payment timelines, boosting collection rates, and minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), overdue balances, write-offs, and disputes.
- Understand and uphold lien and bond rights by creating and monitoring customer job accounts.
- Oversee the credit and accounts receivable evaluations for potential acquisitions or divestitures, including the creation of transition service agreements.
- Review the customer deduction process to ensure prompt and accurate resolutions.
- Keep management updated on the status of customer accounts and receivables.
- Comply with company policies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in Credit Management.
- Experience in Credit, Collections, and/or Accounts Receivable within the Lighting sector.
- Strong communication skills, self-assuredness, and a curious mindset.
- Ability to respond quickly to new information and manage conflicts professionally.
- Good judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and a holistic view of business operations.
- Ability to handle stress, manage time effectively, and analyze financial data.
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote) is preferred.
- Knowledge of credit principles, including financial statement analysis and contract law.
Compensation:
$3, $6,783.70
Note: The estimated ranges are displayed monthly for salaried roles or hourly for other positions. This role is eligible for bonuses or incentive plans.
