HR Specialist

Community and Family Resources is dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment and prevention services for substance use, mental health, and gambling issues. We are currently looking for an HR Specialist who will collaborate closely with management to attract and maintain exceptional personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, interview, and facilitate the recruitment of qualified candidates for open roles; partner with department leaders to comprehend the necessary skills and qualifications for each position.
- Work alongside the HR team to create and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct or arrange for background checks and verify employee eligibility, including the validation of professional licenses and certifications.
- Lead orientation and onboarding initiatives for new hires.
- Address employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, and supervisors, directing complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure that employee records are maintained in compliance with industry standards.
Work Schedule:
- Type: Full-time
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required, along with 2 years of HR experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, with at least 1 year of HR experience.
