About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of engineers who are passionate about developing innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a key role in leading software project teams and ensuring that all software changes are thoroughly tested and validated before being deployed to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate software change requests to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers to help them grow professionally and technically
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code
  • Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure that software meets quality standards
  • Contribute to the development of technical documents and training materials
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience with C++/C programming languages
  • Experience developing embedded Linux deployments
  • Working knowledge of embedded software development best practices
  • Experience in Linux driver development
  • Experience with Python programming language
  • Background in DevOps, CI/CD, embedded software toolchains, and version management systems
