Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our world-class team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers within the Surgical Operations Unit. This role will be responsible for leading software project teams and/or major features, mentoring engineers in their areas of expertise, designing, implementing, and testing software changes for medical devices.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate software change requests to medical devices and supporting tools
  • Lead SW Project teams and/or major features
  • Mentor engineers in their areas of expertise
  • Design, implement, and test software changes for medical devices
  • Participate in change control board, risk reviews, and other project meetings as necessary
  • Work with cross-functional teams to communicate changes and understand impacts to their function
  • Create documentation throughout the development process
  • Commit to achieving and exceeding project goals and timelines
  • Perform duties in compliance with the Quality System
