Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Clerk/Cutter to join our team at Prenger Foods. As a Meat Clerk/Cutter, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and assisting with the preparation and display of meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
  • Meat Department Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves, rotating products, and cleaning equipment.
  • Meat Preparation: Assist with the preparation and display of meat products, including cutting, trimming, and wrapping meat.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience: No experience required; we will train the right person.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 85 pounds occasionally, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
Working Environment

This is a fast-paced work environment with frequent noise from equipment and occasional exposure to a cool and damp environment.
