We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Associate to join our team at Providence Centralia Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties related to the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV, and chemotherapeutic medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other ancillary departments.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Experience with telephone call prioritization and stressful/urgent need situations.
  • 3 months of practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.
