Job Summary

Harrington Industrial Plastics, a leading distributor of flow control solutions, seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive growth and success in our industrial markets. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for assigned branches, establishing goals and objectives for the sales team, and ensuring adherence to approved sales techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for assigned branches to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Establish goals and objectives for the sales team, monitor sales expenses, and ensure adherence to approved sales techniques and tools.
  • Actively participate in the sales process by engaging with key accounts, conducting individual or joint sales calls to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, and following up on project bids to secure orders and address any issues related to products and services.
  • Assist in the budgeting process by preparing preliminary financial data, reviewing monthly financial reports, analyzing them for opportunities to enhance profitability and reduce costs, and implementing plans to improve the region's financial performance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution, preferably in the pipe, valve, and fitting industry.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience.
  • 3 years of management experience.
