Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales, service, and solicitation of commercial insurance business
- Maximize growth and client retention through exceptional customer service
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Generate and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and deliver formal proposals for insurance programs
- Negotiate with carriers to secure the best quotes for clients
- Collaborate with account managers and marketing teams to complete proposals and select potential markets
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of industry experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Previous insurance experience is an asset
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
- Licensed by relevant regulatory bodies
