You will ensure adherence to safety standards while monitoring equipment and product quality. Your role involves analyzing material proportions and performing calculations to maximize yields and minimize waste.

Responsibilities:

  • Abide by and enforce all company safety standards and regulations.
  • Operate and monitor equipment involved in the blending and processing of fibers and materials.
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Clean and maintain machinery and work areas to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Train junior associates on safety procedures and work instructions

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency in basic math and ability to perform calculations involving rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with industrial control software and Microsoft Office applications
