Job Description

Specialized Recruiting Group - Charlotte (South), NC is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation and Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Mandatory Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic, or chemical engineering.

Mandatory Experience:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of progressive hands-on mechanical experience, with strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills. They will be comfortable developing new automation concepts and maintaining existing automated manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, upgrading, and troubleshooting PLCs, Human Machine Interfaces, vision, and data acquisition systems on new and existing production equipment.
  • Providing technical training and support for automated equipment impacting Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $85k - $115k annually, plus a discretionary bonus potential worth up to 12% of YTD earnings. A comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance, temp housing, and paid site visits.
